Laser Treatments
Laser treatments are an addition to the periodontal treatments received at POD. These treatments promote quicker healing of inflammation in the gums, and are minimally invasive.
The treatment is completed with a fine-tipped instrument that is placed into the pocket.
Laser Bacterial reduction
During laser bacterial reduction, dental soft tissue lasers are used to destroy harmful bacteria in the oral cavity that cause inflammation and periodontal pocketing.

Laser Degranulation
Treats areas of significant inflammation and diseased tissue. With the goal of reducing pocket measurements, this procedure removes necrotic tissue from the sulcus and stimulates healthy tissue to reform.
Best used during:
Aphthous Ulcers
Therapy for treating and reducing the recurrence of painful aphthous ulcers, commonly known as canker sores. This treatment allows for faster healing and rapid relief from discomfort and improving overall quality of life.
